PROTEUS ("SHEPARD FOR SEA GOD NEPTUNE") was built at Rysco Shipyard in Florida in 1977 as an offshore supply vessel. She is a sistership to the ex FRENCH LOOK now PERFECT LIFE. She was converted in 2005 for Oceanographic Research and as an Exploration Yacht. PROTEUS is in ABS class and had two extensive refits in 2005 and 2009 making her ready for extended voyages now. An estate is selling PROTEUS. As she is currently configured she carries up to 19 Guests/Scientists and 16 Crew.
