Dear All, While I was in Auckland, New Zealand, I inspected Codene. (Recent price reduction to $7,995,000) She was built by a military yard in Australia and is a solid, well put together vessel. The wiring, piping and general execution is well done. She is an un-faired vessel with a basic interior finish. Wall panels are commercial fire proof panels with fabric finish. The boat is very user friendly and well thought out for world cruising. The interior spaces are large, comfortable and inviting. The staterooms are of good size but the heads which are all ensuite are serviceable but small. Aft Deck Exterior spaces are excellent with great open air eating, lounging and play areas. There is excellent access to the water off an over-sized swim platform with dive lockers and toy lockers to each side and full dive compressor. Guest Cabin - Wheel House Engine room is large and well laid out, all the basic equipment is there. The owner is doing some upgrades on the gen sets and in other areas now. Crews quarters and galley are good. The galley is stainless, has good dish storage, food storage and fridge and freezer space abundant and the galley has nice large windows. The crew quarters are comfortable, they have their own crew mess/lounge and lots of areas they can be outside of guest areas.
